Are you interested in a career where you can give children the best start in life? How about supporting families in taking the first steps into parenthood? If so, then health visiting could be for you.

Health visiting is a growing career option for nurses. The NHS is currently recruiting 4,200 new health visitors by 2015.

To train as a health visitor, you need to be a qualified nurse, so you will need to study for a nursing qualification first. You'll then need to take further study to become a qualified health visitor.
